Northrop Grumman is seeking a Material Analyst Level 2 or a Level 3 to join our growing team of professionals on the IBCS Program. This individual will be assisting the Cost Account Management (CAM) Lead and be support the day-to-day activities to budge, plan, and report on a Material budget of $70M to $100M annually for the production delivery of Major End Items.

The Material Analyst will report to the Global Supply Chain Organization will be responsible for supporting Northrop Grumman IBCS Poland programs in compliance with Earned Value Management. System (EVMS) requirements and program implementation of Production Materials and Subcontracts.

This position will be in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsible for manufacturing support on programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirementsInterface with Cost Account Managers (CAM) and providing monthly Earned Value Management cost/schedule data for the IBCS programCost Performance Reporting requirements utilizing the Micro frame Project Manager (MPM) toolReporting variance analysis and preparing cost reviewsGenerate weekly material reportsDevelop EAC Analysis for Material and Production of the Major End Items (MEI)Utilize SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP), transaction codes, data field elements and material business management processes to complete earned value reportingSupport Integrated Product Teams on the MEIsSet up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on Contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemMaintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance including cost/schedule integrationPerform analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelinesPrepare and maintain spend plans; develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs); incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule baselinesAssist Control/Cost Account Managers with EVMS activities including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and alignment; time-phasing of tasks; developing and documenting earned value methodologies; performance measurement; estimate to complete analysis and updates and variance analysis research and reportingCreate financial charts in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as requiredResponsible for actuals reconciliation, budget change requests and ensuring proper accounting.Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

Basic Qualifications: Material Analyst Level 2 :

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience - OR - a Master's degree -OR- a High School Diploma / Equivalent with  6 years’ experience may be considered in Lieu of degreeFamiliar with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Experience with Cost Account Management monthly reportingUse of Deltek Cobra or MPMProficiency with SAP or Similar Material Resource Planning toolProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)

Basic Qualifications: Material Analyst Level 3 :

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience - OR - a Master's degree  with 3 years of experience -OR- a High School Diploma / Equivalent with  9 years’ experience may be considered in Lieu of degreeExperience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Familiar with Cost Account Management monthly reportingUse of Deltek Cobra or MPMProficiency with SAP or Similar Material Resource Planning toolProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Certifications in Earned Value Management or Project Management a plusProficiency of the following systems or software: Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) or similar project managementSoftware, w/Insight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW)Experience in the following disciplines include and are not limited to Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Purchasing, Subcontracting, Supply Chain Management and Production

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00Salary Range 2: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
