Master Technician (EV Vehicles)
**Master Technician (with EV or Hybrid vehicles)** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to perform repairs on electric, hybrid, and regular vehicles. The ideal candidate will have an active ASE certification for electric vehicle repair or equivalent OEM certification. We also welcome individuals with hybrid repair experience. The candidate must be capable of diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company standards. The role requires clear communication with the parts department and documentation of all work performed. **Responsibilities** Perform repairs on electric, hybrid, and regular vehicles. Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs using schematics and diagnostic equipment. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the technical team. Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicate with shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Document all work performed and recommended on the work order. Road test vehicles when required or refer to the shop foreman. Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and recalls. Supervise work of other technicians and provide guidance and mentorship to them. Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Notify shop foreman immediately of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Keep the shop area neat and clean. Maintain and be accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals, returning them to the proper place and in the same condition as received. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know. Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Report any safety issues immediately to leadership. Perform other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical troubleshooting Electrical wiring Hybrid or electric vehicle maintenance experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Active ASE certification for electric vehicle repair or equivalent OEM certification Hybrid repair experience Why Work Here?
