Master Electrician
**Job Title: Master Electrician** **Job Description** The role involves supervising and performing advanced-level electrical duties, including installation, preventative maintenance, repair, testing, and ensuring code compliance of equipment on an active construction site. This position certifies compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws. Centered at a healthcare facility, the position may also involve managing several additional electricians. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and perform advanced-level electrical installations. + Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems. + Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local electrical codes. + Perform electrical testing and ensure code compliance. + Manage additional electricians on-site. + Certify compliance with relevant laws and regulations. **Essential Skills** + Master Electrician License + Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician and/or a combination of education and experience + Minimum five (5) years of high-voltage (over 480v) experience + High voltage electrical maintenance and repair + Electrical testing and troubleshooting + Experience with power generation systems and switchgear + Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Leadership abilities and team management experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + MD Master License (Transferable to MD) + Basic computer skills, including internet and email + Ability to quickly learn additional software programs **Why Work Here?** We offer generous benefits for our full-time employees, including company-paid medical insurance, life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, long-term disability, and a 401(K) retirement plan. The work involves handling high-voltage systems, including maintenance, repair, and testing of power generation systems, diesel generators, switchgear, and transformers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Bethesda, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr. This position is eligible for company-paid medical insurance, life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, long-term disability, 401(K) retirement plan, and our employee assistance program (EAP).
