Job Title: Master ElectricianJob Description

We are seeking a Master Electrician to lead and develop our Journeymen Electrician training initiatives. This role involves coaching, counseling, and ensuring compliance with state electrical licensing requirements. The Master Electrician will evaluate electrical skills, identify knowledge gaps, and provide actionable feedback.

ResponsibilitiesCreate key performance indicators to benchmark Journeymen Electrician training initiatives.Coach, counsel, and lead apprenticeship training to meet and exceed state electrical licensing requirements.Conduct electrical skill assessments to identify specific knowledge gaps, training objectives, and work situations.Observe and evaluate electricians performing practical, hands-on electrical tasks to verify competency.Ensure that candidates demonstrate the skills and knowledge appropriate to their claimed level (e.g., apprentice, journeyman, or master).Monitor testing sessions to confirm all safety standards and protocols are followed during evaluations.Record assessment results, provide clear feedback, and recommend pass/fail decisions or areas for improvement.Collaborate with Human Resources to support hiring and promotion decisions based on verified skill levels.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsElectrical Journeyman license.Minimum 10+ years of experience working as a licensed Industrial or Commercial Journeyman Electrician leading field crews.Bilingual in English and Spanish (native or fluent).Solid understanding of electrical systems, transformers, and electrical practices and materials.Electrical training or certification according to NCCER, IEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong preference for Electrical Foreman and above level, with prior training or teaching experience.Strong preference for NCCER and NFPA 70E Certifications.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $108160.00/yr.
