**Job Title: Master Electrician** Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our electrical workforce. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop an in-house electrical apprenticeship program, while also being actively involved in hands-on electrical work within our manufacturing plant. Responsibilities + Design and implement a structured apprenticeship program for aspiring electricians. + Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to apprentices and junior electricians. + Perform hands-on electrical work, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. + Work primarily with medium voltage systems, and occasionally with high voltage equipment related to our melting processes. + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards. + Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives. + Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance logs, and training records. Essential Skills + State of Michigan Master Electrical license. + At least 5 years of electrical experience. + Experience with electrical maintenance and high voltage systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with conduits and industrial electrical systems. + Journeyman license is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is within a foundry setting, characterized by extremely hot temperatures and loud conditions. Employees will sometimes work at heights. The primary location is Tecumseh, MI, with occasional travel to Ann Arbor facilities. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some overtime required based on operational needs. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr. - 3 weeks PTO upfront and holidays Health & Wellness Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage including medical, dental, and vision.
