Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant
CTG is seeking to fill a Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 11 months Duties: Design, implement, and maintain a unified, accurate, and reliable Master Data Management (MDM) environment supporting business operations, analytics, and decision-making. Develop, implement, and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures related to master data. Define and manage master data models, hierarchies, and relationships across key business domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier). Implement and support data integration, synchronization, and consolidation processes across enterprise systems. Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance through monitoring, validation, and remediation processes. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify data gaps, prioritize MDM initiatives, and align solutions with business objectives. Lead or support change management activities to drive organizational adoption of MDM strategies, tools, and processes. Provide a single, trusted view of master data entities to support reporting, analytics, and enterprise initiatives. Document MDM architectures, processes, standards, and best practices. Skills: Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as IBM InfoSphere MDM, Informatica MDM, and/or SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data analytics platforms. Solid business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into technical MDM solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience developing and executing change management and adoption strategies related to data initiatives. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, data governance, or enterprise data management roles. Proven experience designing and implementing MDM solutions in complex enterprise environments. Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and IT. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
