Job Title: Master Auto Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Master Auto Technician to perform repairs on electric, hybrid, and regular vehicles. The ideal candidate will have an Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM. You will be responsible for executing work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, diagnosing malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic equipment, and maintaining communication with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs on electric, hybrid, or regular vehicles as outlined on repair orders.Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs using schematics and diagnostic equipment.Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or requested by the technical team.Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.Communicate with shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.Document all work performed and recommended on the work order.Road test vehicles when required or refer to the shop foreman.Stay abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and recalls.Supervise other technicians and provide guidance and mentorship.Maintain and be accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals, ensuring they are returned to their proper place and in the same condition as received.

Essential Skills

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with electrical wiringASE certification with at least 4 ASEsExperience with hybrid or electric vehicle maintenanceWillingness to travel for training

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of Electrical Vehicle (EV) experience5+ years of experience as an Automotive mechanic/technicianMaster Level technicianWillingness and ability to obtain additional ASE certifications within a yearExperience traveling for work, with 50% travel to Michigan, Ohio, and CaliforniaLocated in Arizona near the training centerExperience training newer techniciansAbility to work independently and drive a maintenance programCustomer interfacing skills and presentability

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
