Job Description

We are hiring a dependable and hardworking Masonry Tender to support our masonry crews across Los Angeles County. This is a full-time position with guaranteed year-round work—no layoffs or down days. The ideal candidate is physically capable, motivated, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced construction environment.

ResponsibilitiesUnload, carry, and stockpile block, brick, stone, and other materials.Dig trenches and prepare work areas.Push wheelbarrows and transport materials on-site.Mix mud/mortar to proper consistency.Cut materials using hand tools or power tools.Operate forklifts and boom lifts (certification preferred).Set up and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently.Assist masons and maintain a clean, organized job site.PAY: $23 - $34 pending experience and interview Essential SkillsGeneral labor experience in construction and commercial construction.Proficiency in masonry work, including handling tape measure, construction labor, and saw operation with stone, brick, and block.Experience with concrete, hand tools, scaffolding, and digging.OSHA 30 certification.Ability to operate forklifts.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossession of essential hand tools: tape measure, marker, brick hammer, wire reel, and pliers.Willingness to work at various job sites throughout Los Angeles County.Positive attitude, eagerness to work, and dependability.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions.Reliable transportation to and from job sites.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in Los Angeles County, CA, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. The work environment involves outdoor conditions typical of a construction site. The company supplies power tools, and appropriate attire should be worn to ensure safety on-site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clarita, California.

Expect a call from Tanner with Aerotek. He will be responsible for hiring for this position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr.
