Job Description
We are seeking dedicated maskers to join the paint department of a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves utilizing small hand tools to prepare and apply paint to components, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize small hand tools, such as tweezers, to apply paint to small parts that cannot be painted.Lift and unload parts off the paint line as required.Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.Ensure prior steps are complete by inspecting parts and paperwork.Collaborate with team members to prep parts correctly.Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.Inspect parts after coating is complete.Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.Complete all paperwork accurately and timely.

Work Environment
The work environment is within a large sheet metal manufacturing company that produces a variety of sheet metal products. It can get hot, and the work can be somewhat physical due to the size of the parts. The position offers 1st shift hours from 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 2nd shift hours from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
