About Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk
Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR), within the Risk Management and Compliance organization, is responsible for designing and overseeing the firm’s Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk Management Framework. CCOR develops and enforces policies and standards to effectively manage these risks across the organization, providing independent assessment and oversight for the firm’s lines of business, corporate functions, and their activities.
Key Responsibilities
Based on Argentina, as a CCOR Associate, you will provide Operational Risk support to Argentina Markets as well as to other countries in the region, contribute to the Operational Risk country coverage and collaborate with the Argentina Markets Compliance support. In this role, you will help to maintain a robust second line of defense function, build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders—including Business, Legal, Audit, Finance, and control functions—drive process innovation, and ensure a strong risk and control environment.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Provide independent oversight and review Markets initiatives and business processes as well as Horizontal Programs. Assist with Legal Entity Coverage, including 2nd Line Review of 1st Line Assessments, leveraging the CCOR Framework. Support regulatory reviews, audits, exams and inquiries as well as Markets regulatory changes Understanding and guidance on the local regulatory requirements for Markets. Review CCOR policies, procedures, and bulletins to ensure alignment with local regulatory obligations and corporate requirements. Provide critical and analytical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions. Create a proactive legal entity culture within 1LOD and 2LOD. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Business, Legal, Audit, Finance and control functions. Contribute to innovation projects to automate manual processes using tools like Alteryx, LLM, Tableau, etc.Required Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Risk related subject. Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, financial services expertise required. Regulatory knowledge is a plus. Solid working knowledge of Markets and related financial products. Experience with Risk Management, Operations, Product Management, or Front Office roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear and persuasive findings in both English and Spanish. Team player with strong influencing abilities, capable of driving change and delivering measurable results. Ability to work effectively within a matrix reporting structure. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the corporate structure.
