Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products (BCP) division is hiring a **M** **arketing Technology & Data Consultant** ! **Role Summary:** In this role you will serve as the primary business‑focused super user for Salesforce within the Marketing Operations Support team. This role will ensure our Sales and Marketing teams effectively use CRM data, lead flows, and audience segmentation to drive revenue and enable account‑based marketing. The ideal candidate will quickly deliver value through hands‑on Salesforce expertise while growing into broader responsibility over time. This role is central to integrating CRM best practices into daily operations, improving funnel management, enabling high‑quality audience creation, and training teams to fully leverage Salesforce capabilities. **What** **You’ll** **Do (Job Duties)** **Sales Funnel & Lead Flow Management** + Monitor lead flow issues and data anomalies, flagging problems to theappropriate technicalteams. + Support Sales teams in troubleshootingfunnelor lead assignment issues. **Marketing Audience Creation & ABM Enablement** + Build standardized audience segmentation processes for Marketing teams. + Enable account‑based marketing (ABM) programs by designing and managing target account lists and related reporting. + Translate Marketing needs into data solutions that support campaign execution. **Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Enablement** + Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and IT/Salesforce Admin teams to ensure smooth CRM operations and execute support and development activities + Train users across Sales and Marketing on CRM best practices, audience creation, and funnel management. + Act as the communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical Salesforce teams. **Data Stewardship, Admin & Reporting** + Monitor CRM data quality and escalate issues appropriately. + Produce reporting and dashboards to measure the success of Marketing programs, ABM initiatives, and sales funnel health. + Document processes and create user‑friendly operational guides. + Perform admin duties for user support and access **What You Have (Core Skills)** + **Customer Focus** **:** Abilityto translate business needs into CRM workflows andmarketingaudiences for activation. + **Effective Communications** :Clearcommunicatorwith both technical and non‑technical audiences. + **Relationship Management** **:** Strongteaching, training, and enablement capabilities. + **Technical Excellence** **:** Ability to understand data structures, lead flows, funnel stages, and account hierarchies; Experience building reports and dashboards. + **Strategic Thinking** **:** Analytical thinker with problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. + **Digital Marketing** **:** ability to influence and guide audience behavior, drive adoption of digital channels and tools, and ensure operational consistency across platforms to achieve business results. **Top Candidates Will Also Have** + Experienceworking with Salesforce in a sales, marketing, or CRM operations context. + Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud data usage, reporting, and business processes. + Demonstrated experience supporting Sales or Marketing workflows in a B2B environment. + Experience in marketing operations, sales operations, or campaign management. + Exposure toAccount-Based Marketing (ABM)tools or practices. + Familiarity with audience creation processes or Marketing Cloud tools. + Experience collaborating with Salesforce Admins or technical teams. **Additional Details** + Work location:Cary, NC; Peoria, IL + Travel:Up to 20% **Summary Pay Range:** $112,710.00 - $169,060.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
