**About The Role:**
The Chicago-based Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in supporting business development initiatives within the Chicago market. This dynamic position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, encompassing project management, strategic marketing, and cross-functional collaboration.
We are seeking an expert Business Development project manager to partner with internal stakeholders in the pursuit of winning new business for our Chicago based Brokers. You will be responsible for leading proposals and presentations, providing strategic and creative strategies for Fortune 500 companies including writing and design deliverables. You will act as the single point of contact for brokers defining and managing the business development, marketing, and client relations strategy for pursuits while continuing to improve our overall team’s proposal and presentation creation process.
You will be responsible for leading all facets of pursuit development including: sourcing and developing all content and messaging, crafting innovative and unique themes, ensuring security and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow and review of all pursuit inputs, schedules, activities with cross functional business areas, and directing submission of the final product to the client.
This high-visibility position calls for a confident, strategic, and creative marketing professional with excellent writing, project management, analytical, collaboration and communication skills. The preferred candidate is self-directed and will exude conviction and poise in a deadline-driven environment. Ideal candidate would have previous proposal development experience and capacity to single-handed run multiple projects simultaneously. Commercial real estate or architectural firm experience a plus.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Marketing Lead - Chicago Market
+ Serve as the primary marketing resource for Chicago-based professionals, responsible for the creation and delivery of high-quality marketing materials.
+ Collaborate within a team environment to ensure timely completion of projects, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of deliverables, including but not limited to pitch presentations, proposals, capabilities summaries, reports, brochures, email marketing campaigns, and advertisements.
+ Project Management and Workflow Optimization
+ Oversee the execution of marketing projects, adapting to varying workloads and priorities.
+ Work directly with the design hub to build various Marketing materials. This includes managing both large-scale, focused initiatives and multiple concurrent projects.
+ Demonstrate agility in responding to shifting deadlines and prioritization, proactively assessing capacity and communicating needs effectively.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
+ Participate in meetings with diverse stakeholders, including management, design teams, and brokerage professionals.
+ Effectively communicate marketing strategies, present recommendations, solicit feedback, and implement vital revisions to refine project outcomes.
+ Deliverable Production and Design Adherence
+ Produce a variety of marketing materials, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and design consistency. This involves both the creation of original content using established templates in software such as InDesign, Word, and PowerPoint, and the modification of existing files.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with graphic designers is essential. A comprehensive understanding and unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of the CBRE brand across all marketing assets is required.

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and/or training. Experience in commercial real estate preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.
+ Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Proactively solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Marketing Specialist position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Marketing Specialist position is $80,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
