Our internships are rooted in individual growth, professional development, business exposure and project ownership. Interns primarily spend their time focused on their assigned area of the business. Throughout the summer, intern program managers will host a variety of development focused activities to enhance professional development, provide exposure to all aspects of our business, and engagement events with fellow interns.

About the Role 

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Marketing Operations Intern to support channel strategy, promotional execution, and personalization initiatives. This role focuses on how marketing programs are operationalized and delivered to members across print, in-club, and digital channels. 

What You’ll Do 

Support Smart Saver and promotional personalization testing 

Maintain and organize Excel-based data related to audiences and distribution 

Assist with coordination across Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, and vendors 

Support promotional setup and data accuracy for member-facing channels 

Participate in testing readouts and performance discussions 

Support a defined summer project aligned to team priorities 

 

What We’re Looking For 

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field 

Strong Excel and organizational skills 

Interest in marketing operations, channel strategy, or personalization 

Detail-oriented, flexible, and eager to learn 

Prior retail or customer-facing experience preferred 

Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA. Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
