Marketing Operations B2B Copywriter (CVS Healthspire)

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** A B2B copywriter serves as a strategic and trusted content partner within the larger PSS Marketing organization. **Job Description** The B2B copywriter is responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading all marketing communications and content. This includes ensuring all copy aligns with CVS Health enterprise brand standards and guidelines for voice, tone, style, clarity, grammar and formatting. Frequent writing projects include, but are not limited to, value stories, white papers, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, emails, social media posts, digital support (landing pages + web content), and other communications. The target audience for these projects include Payor clients, prospects and their consultants. Secondarily we’re engaging pharmaceutical companies, Pharma, biotech, life sciences, medical device and pharmacovigilance researchers. We are looking for a passionate writer who can turn complex information about pharmacy and medical benefit management into simple, easy-to-understand, and compelling communications. This market is dynamic and competitive, and the writer will understand how to produce engaging, breakthrough messaging, in the right channels, to drive preference for our products and services. **Responsibilities** You must have top-notch writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio showing multi-channel campaigns. Knowledge of video concepts and experience across all digital media, with a special emphasis on social. To be successful, you'll need to ask questions, produce concise copy and content strategies that meet and exceed buyer's expectations while meeting complex business and clinical challenges. Writer will demonstrate excellent writing skills and uphold all PBM/PSS Marketing, CVS Health and CVS Healthspire brand standards for all materials. To excel in B2B communication, writers will: + Research target audience industry challenges + Use data and case studies to support claims + Balance technical information with readability + Address specific pain points of target audiences Creative marketing process tasks include kick offs, brainstorming, rounds of review, additional meetings, project management, administrative tasks Content compliance/quality check (QC) review: proofreading, editing, branding, etc. Internal, non-client meetings and tasks (1:1s, creative team meetings, time and milestone tracking, participation in cross-functional workgroups, post-mortems, or other PBM initiatives) Ensure successful execution of all assigned copywriting projects, ensuring final deliverables are error free, delivered on-time and meet/exceed required CVS enterprise brand and content standards + Review and edit communications copy/content for clarity, grammar, readability, or reading grade level following client voice, tone, and style guidelines + Contribute suggestions and constructive feedback to internal and external partners through all stages of a project plan + Maintain records of all drafts, feedback, revisions and final deliverables in project management system, including Workfront and SharePoint. + Make sure that all web copy adheres to basic HTML and SEO best practices. + Recommend, research and develop facts, quotes, and scenarios to support writing, as needed + Proactively identify and act on opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements. **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years of relevant experience as a professional copywriter (pharmaceutical, health insurance, and/or healthcare experience preferred) + Expert B2B writing and editorial skills + Demonstrated experience collaborating with graphic designers/creative design team(s) + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook applications. + Must be an independent, critical thinker who is a self-starter and deadline driven. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy performing at high levels in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment + Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing **Preferred Qualifications** + Expert proofreading skills (legal, compliance, and regulatory experience preferred) + Experience writing to different grade levels + Experience with PDFs and Adobe Acrobat + Comfortable navigating and using project management tools (Workfront experience preferred) + Knowledge of AI large language model (LLM) tool(s) to proof and/or enhance copy + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook applications + Insurance industry and benefit experience is preferred + Ability to translate and distill complex information in order to write simple and easy-to-understand communications + Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, healthcare, and/or health insurance + Project management or account management experience **Education** Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $66,330.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
