What the day will look like Strategic leadership Close alignment with Regional Marketing Leaders to ensure local needs are considered by Strategic Marketing team Works closely with Sub-Regional CEO to build and deliver a robust marketing plan that aligns to local growth priorities, aligned to Aon United regional growth strategy Tailor persona, buyer journey, message maps, regulatory schemes and priority solutions, focusing on local demand phase of funnel Operational leadership Creates and runs locally relevant, holistic, evergreen Aon United engagement and demand-focused programs by buyer type, that move clients through the funnel to become an MQL Adapts and develops locally relevant key objectives for demand-focused programs and guides and supports country Marketing Manager to deliver activities that support local growth priorities Reports on local demand-focused programs Development of Engagement programs that allow us to show material increases in marketing pipeline to be fed into nurture programs to move down the funnel to demand Engagement me with central Go To Market Team on appropriate Nurture programs to accelerate movement of suspects to prospects and leads. Accountable for the delivery of Tier 1 and Tier 2 events that achieve target experience scores and measurable ROI People leadership Promote a health, safety, and wellbeing culture, ensuring physical and psychological workplace risks are identified and subsequently eliminated or controlled, and any incidents or accidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner. Promote a constructive risk management culture, ensuring Aon NA meets its legal and regulatory requirements and delivers good client outcomes, including compliance with all financial advice processes, record-keeping requirements, complaints processes and training requirements. Lead an effective communication plan across the team, connecting colleagues to our purpose and strategy, and providing consistent, clear, and regular messaging with regard to priorities and performance. Lead an engaged and inclusive workforce, championing proactive engagement action planning and inclusive leadership philosophies to help colleagues feel capable, valued, and empowered. Develop and maintain a succession plan and talent pipeline for the Corporate team, based on current and anticipated client and organisational needs, and supported by a strong performance management and accountability culture. Enterprise leadership Contribute to the leadership of the Aon NA business as a member APAC Marketing & Communications Leadership team role modelling alignment, collaboration, enterprise accountability and a “one team” mindset. This role will also be asked on a regular basis to present to the NA leadership team to maintain engagement and understanding around the strategic marketing plan Champion Delivering Aon United, including bringing to life the Aon Story and Aon’s 3x3 strategy in the Aon NA business and APAC Marketing & Communications Leadership Team, demonstrating agnostic client leadership, and working constructively and collaboratively with Global and Regional colleagues, for the betterment of the total firm. Act as an Aon brand ambassador and custodian of our reputation, instilling trust, and confidence in key external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and carriers. How this opportunity is different The purpose of the Marketing Leader – North Asia is to drive Aon United alignment, best practice sharing and strategic guidance across sub-regional countries and delivers actionable marketing plans based on sub-regional growth priorities and strategies developed by the buyer leaders. The Sub-Regional countries managed by the NA Leader will be Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Skills and experience that will lead to success Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with regional growth priorities Strong track record in creating and managing demand-focused marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline growth Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global teams, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies. Strong communication skills to present strategic plans to leadership and engage external stakeholders confidently.
