Leveraging thorough data analysis and market insights, you will drive the direction of budgets aligned with revenue forecasts, business unit objectives, market dynamics, and profitability targets. Collaborating cross-functionally with Business Unit leaders, Marketing & Growth teams, finance, business intelligence, and product divisions, you will architect data-informed, bottoms-up business plans that balance ambition with financial discipline. Your expertise in analytics will be critical in prioritizing marketing spend and evaluating its impact on revenue and key performance indicators. Serving as a strategic analyst, you will interpret complex data to surface risks, opportunities, and validate the feasibility of forecast goals, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities. You will provide actionable recommendations that guide marketing investments to maximize revenue growth and profitability. Throughout the fiscal year, you will continuously monitor performance metrics in partnership with finance teams, applying agile adjustments to optimize marketing spend against evolving business conditions. Your consultative approach will unify product strategies and marketing initiatives into a cohesive investment framework, delivering a clear, data-backed point of view that enables AT&T to achieve its strategic growth ambitions. **You will be responsible for:** _· Strategic Marketing Planning:_ o Partnering closely with finance and marketing analytics teams to establish unified, actionable metrics for ongoing measurement and optimization. o Providing competitive benchmarking, market intelligence, and thought leadership on marketing-to-sales ratios and budgeting best practices to inform strategic investment decisions. o Delivering strategic budget and spend recommendations that optimize spend thresholds to drive measurable performance outcomes. · _Dynamic Budget Management and Optimization:_ o Continuously monitoring market and business indicators to adjust marketing budgets responsively throughout the fiscal year. o Providing expert consultation and strategic insights to marketing teams and Business Units to inform budget decisions and realign investments with evolving business needs. _· Multi-Product Integrated Investment Transformation:_ o Designing and executing a cross-product marketing investment framework that prioritizes spend based on comprehensive revenue analytics and enterprise-wide growth objectives. o Advising on prioritization strategies that integrate inputs from both Consumer and Business segments, ensuring alignment with overarching revenue goals and maximizing growth impact across AT&T’s portfolio. o Developing a holistic, analytics-driven methodology that balances enterprise-level targets with individual product campaigns, allocating marketing investments to maximize revenue and strategic priorities. · Internal Communications and Visibility: o Delivering clear, data-backed insights and updates to senior leadership, including the Head of Marketing Planning & Operations and each of the lines of business leads o Representing the marketing budgeting and planning process in executive forums, ensuring transparency and alignment with AT&T’s strategic financial goals. **CORE COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS** Industry Expertise: · Strategy, business intelligence, and analytics experience in a leading role for 3+ years · Brand finance, management experience in multi-product consumer and/or B2B companies · Expertise in marketing organizations and understanding of marketing knowledge base at a fortune 500 company Functional Expertise: · Highly analytical and able to spot trends/provide recommendations to the business · Direct experience in developing and recommending marketing investment strategies across a portfolio of products and / or business lines · Strong financial acumen and experienced in working with complex budget allocations, cost forecasting, and reconciliation · Extensive experience in analyzing annual marketing budgets · The ability to communicate recommendations from a marketer lens while addressing concerns and utilizing information from finance and business intelligence teams Scale: · Experience collaborating with broader organizations of 250-300· Experience stewarding and analyzing budgets of $250MPersonal Disposition: · Executive presence to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents · Collaborative; willing to roll up their sleeves with the team · Change agent and pragmatist; able to drive positive cultural change at AT&T A career with us, a global leader in communications and technology, comes with big rewards. Our **Marketing Lead, Planning and Analytics** position earn between $130,700 - $196,100 Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
