Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing department and own the complete demand generation engine for our global B2B events portfolio. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital and demand generation, understands modern SEO in the era of generative AI and LLMs, and has proven success with multi-channel paid advertising, go-to-market strategy, and team leadership. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to scale registrations, sponsorship ROI, and overall event visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Demand Generation
Build and oversee the complete demand generation stack \u2014 from awareness to conversion.
Develop GTM strategies for new and existing events, aligned with business growth targets.
Lead integrated campaigns across paid search, social, display, retargeting, email, content syndication, and ABM.
Ensure SEO and content strategies reflect the latest trends in AI-driven and generative search.
Leadership & Department Oversight
Manage and grow a high-performing marketing team across digital, content, and design.
Set clear KPIs for demand generation, registrations, MQLs, and ROI.
Drive cross-functional alignment with sales, production, and sponsorship teams.
Analytics & Performance
Own marketing metrics such as CPL, conversion rate, MQL\u2013SQL pipeline, and sponsor digital reach.
Use advanced analytics, automation, and AI tools to optimize campaigns and improve outcomes.
Report performance to leadership with actionable recommendations.
Innovation & Future-Proofing
Stay ahead of evolving digital trends including LLM-based content strategies, AI-powered SEO, and marketing automation.
Test and adopt new channels and technologies that can scale event impact and ROI.
RequirementsRequired Experience
\u25CF 5\u20137 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years leading demand generation for B2B events(conferences, summits, exhibitions).
\u25CF Proven success in scaling delegate acquisition and lead generation across global markets.
\u25CF Strong track record of building and managing marketing teams.
\u25CF Hands-on experience with CRM, automation, analytics platforms, and paid media buying.
\u25CF Strategic thinker with strong GTM and demand generation expertise.
\u25CF Deep knowledge of digital channels, SEO, SEM, paid social, and ABM.
\u25CF Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI search, and their impact on SEO/content.
\u25CF Analytical mindset with strong reporting and presentation skills.
\u25CF Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
\u25CF Prior leadership in marketing for international B2B conferences or summits.
\u25CF Exposure to Tech, BFSI, Manufacturing, or Luxury Event industries.
\u25CF Bachelor\u2019s/Master\u2019s in Marketing, Business, or related field.
\u25CF Advanced certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) a plus.
