**Job Summary**
The Marketing Coordinator – Multimedia Specialist is a creative storyteller responsible for bringing the Miller Electric brand to life through compelling video and photography. This role blends hands-on production with strategic thinking, capturing authentic moments, crafting narratives, and delivering multimedia content that strengthens our brand, highlights our culture, and showcases the exceptional quality of our work.
This position requires someone who takes initiative, generates fresh ideas, collaborates across multiple teams, and is equally comfortable working independently from concept development through final delivery. The Marketing Coordinator – Multimedia Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
**Multimedia Storytelling & Production**
+ Plan, shoot, and edit high‑quality video and photography that support strategic initiatives, campaigns, and major projects.
+ Produce content from concept to distribution, including scripting, storyboarding, filming (camera, lighting, audio), editing, and publishing.
+ Capture interviews, testimonials, and on‑site project footage, ensuring all content reflects the Miller Electric brand, culture, and customer experience.
+ Perform post‑production work including audio mixing, color correction, graphics, motion elements, and voiceovers.
**Creative Strategy & Content Development**
+ Develop original ideas and scripts that showcase people, projects, innovation, and company values.
+ Build and manage content calendars for video, photo, and social media initiatives.
+ Adapt multimedia content for use across platforms (web, social, internal communications, email, events).
+ Leverage storytelling to elevate brand awareness, recruitment efforts, community presence, and thought leadership.
**Cross‑Functional Collaboration**
+ Partner with marketing, business development, talent, and project teams to produce content aligned with campaigns and strategic goals.
+ Work with leadership on communication initiatives that deepen employee connection to our mission, vision, and values.
+ Represent the brand professionally when filming in customer‑facing environments or on active project sites.
**Brand, Media, and Community Engagement**
+ Support social media and marketing campaigns with timely, impactful multimedia assets.
+ Maintain relationships with local media and community partners as needed for storytelling initiatives.
+ Provide support for media requests, interviews, and company announcements.
+ Contribute creative strategies for community outreach and brand‑awareness campaigns across digital and traditional media.
**Digital Asset & Platform Management**
+ Manage the company’s YouTube channel and other multimedia distribution platforms.
+ Organize, archive, and maintain all multimedia assets, equipment, and digital files for efficient future use.
+ Ensure content meets brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and platform best practices.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media Production, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 2–4 years of experience in multimedia production, videography, photography, or related creative field.
+ Proven experience producing video content from concept through final delivery.
+ Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
+ Working knowledge of photography principles including lighting, composition, exposure, and camera operation.
+ Ability to plan, storyboard, script, and organize multimedia projects.
+ Experience supporting corporate marketing, brand storytelling, or employer‑branding initiatives.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Comfort working on active project sites and customer‑facing environments.
