Position Mission
Are you passionate about Marketing and Communications, and driving business growth in a technical B2B environment? ABB is looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to support the Motion Drive Products Division in Business Line Regional Markets, Brazil.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing local marketing and communication initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, support lead generation, and enable business growth, always aligned with global and regional strategies.
Your Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute integrated marketing and communication campaigns in Brazil, focused on lead generation and local market needs, while ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies.
Collaborate closely with Sales, and regional and global Marketing and Communications teams to support product launches, promotional initiatives, and customer engagement activities.
Adapt and distribute high-quality content for different channels and target audiences , including articles, customer success stories, social media posts and campaign materials (brochures, white papers, videos).
Manage and optimize local digital channels and social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand presence and audience engagement.
Plan, coordinate, and execute customer-facing events, trade fairs, and industry exhibitions.
Develop and deliver thought leadership communications to position local leaders and experts in line with the communications strategy.
Deliver internal communications that strengthen engagement and support ABB’s culture and strategic priorities.
Monitor, analyze, and report on local marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and market insights.
Ensure brand consistency and compliance with ABB’s global communication guidelines.
Act as the main point of contact for external agencies, partners, and suppliers in Brazil.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
Solid understanding of B2B and industrial marketing and communications.
Proven experience in lead generation to support the sales pipeline.
Hands-on experience with campaign management, events, content creation, and digital marketing channels.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, writing, editing, and presentation skills in Portuguese and English.
Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling and relevant messaging.
Proactive, self-driven, and resourceful profile, comfortable working independently without direct reports.
