The Market Sales Director will act as a trusted advisor, consultant and support partner to the Retail Market Executive. This individual will have shared accountability for the execution of sales activities and delivery of expected outcomes in the market. They will understand and effectively communicate the retail bank strategy across the market and possess the ability to act as a backup to the Retail Market Executive in their absence. Additionally, they will demonstrate the ability to think strategically while providing tactical support to implement ideas.
Key responsibilities for the role will be as follows:
Lead efforts in the market to ensure consistent execution of the defined sales model and customer experience process with shared accountability for sales activities and outcomes
Create strong relationships with “One team” partners to accelerate performance; own the Oneteam agenda
Own tactical sales planning ensuring effective execution of marketing sales promotions and new product launches
Drive successful implementation of key business initiatives
Support Retail Market Executive in preparation for key performance meetings
Leverage KPIs and outcomes to proactively provide insights and recommendations to inform action planning and accelerate performance
Identify region and branch performance gaps to prioritize RM/BM coaching
Pinpoint skill gaps and root causes across the market and partner with Sales Strategy and Performance Enablement to aid in skill development
Provide feedback, coaching and support to Regional Managers
Support identification and deployment of top talent to align the right colleagues in the right places
Planning and coordinating agendas and content for market leadership meetings
Serve as a subject-matter expert for incentives inclusive of overseeing discretionary payout process, handling rostering and exceptions and maintaining intimate knowledge of plan details for colleague education
Assist in driving an exceptional colleague experience through recognition of key behaviors that we celebrate to drive performance.Skills & Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in a business management or executive role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus execution
Strong planning, and performance management skills
Exceptional influencing skills both up, below and across the organizationAbility to create healthy tension for constructive collaboration in the market to drive performance.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence
Ability to think and act creatively, championing and promoting new ideas
Ability to lead through ambiguity and work independently with minimal direction
Experience driving execution and adoption of key strategic priorities across large teams

Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday - FridayPay Transparency The salary range for this position is $159,000 - $208,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
