Responsible to provide market data, strategic analytical tools, and insightful interpretation to assist Cushman & Wakefield with executing client services and new business pursuitsJob Description
May be responsible for one or more of the following:
• Gather real estate supply data. This has two main sources, 1. Availabilities (with all relevant indicators, including, but not limited to, vacant space, asking prices, building features, leasing and managing agent contacts), 2. Construction pipeline (including the same indicators as in Availabilities, plus expected completion dates and current status of construction works (30%)
• Gather real estate demand data. This includes, 1. Contract execution comparables (with all relevant indicators, including, but not limited to, transaction type, executed surface, closing price, tenant/buyer details); 2. Tenants in the market (including indicators analogue for contract executions); 3. Demand trends, including main industries, and relevant macroeconomic data (25%)
• Support all Marcomm and Brokerage efforts to produce Client-ready documents and presentations, including taking photographs and gathering contact agent information (10%)
• Organize all the gathered supply and demand data, and its input into diverse databases, including Site Solutions 4 and Cushman One. Develop and maintain a proprietary commercial real estate databases ensuring consistently accurate and current data (10%)
• All other accountabilities (25%)
• Gather, analyze, interpret, and present real estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysis
• Compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summaries, etc. for internal (Brokers, Property
• Managers, Marketing) and external (Clients, Press) clients
• Produce and analyze market statistics, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conducted
• Prepare language translations (English/Spanish) of the aforementioned narratives, graphics, data summaries and reports
• Interface with national research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client research
• Interact with other national and international C&W research teams to supply data and complete all the formats and reports where the Mexican office is included.
• Educate internal clients on available research tools and resources
• Create and analyze spreadsheets utilizing data needed to generate graphs, tables, and written analysis and make recommendations to the Director of Research
• Generate statistics, tables, and graphs used in quarterly market and statistical reports
• Create quarterly market reports to include written analysis explaining statistics and market activity, which may include drafting quarterly write-up
• Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree; Industry related field of study preferred
• 1+ years of real estate research or related business experience
• Or any similar combination of education and experience
• Experience in data entry/data management
• Proficient in the English and Spanish languages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong data software applications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective listening and critical thinking skills
