About the Job This position focuses on strategic market analysis to support long-term growth initiatives across existing and emerging markets. The role involves gathering and organizing information to assist business development and innovation decision-making on market attractiveness, risks, and opportunities. This role supports the business development team by providing research, data analysis, and process coordination that enable informed decisions. As a successful Market Analyst, you will have the ability to independently analyze qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends, and evaluate competition, with the ultimate goal of supporting growth into new markets. + Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis for multiple markets. + Identify drivers for change, key players, and competitive dynamics. + Collaborate with team members to gather and synthesize Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to inform strategic decisions. + Support development project deliverables to support new market and business development priorities. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market insights with innovation and growth strategies. + Conducting research and gathering data using various methods such as internet search, customer engagement, attendance of tradeshows and conferences and data analysis tools. + Innovation Process Management Support: Assist with innovation process tracking and coordination as needed. + Employee will complete other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications + Education: Bachelor’s degree (chemistry or engineering preferred) + Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in technical role or business analytics + Knowledge: technical aptitude, data analytics + Skills: Strong interpersonal, marketing, and presentation skills required. + Abilities: Ability to analyze marketing data, trade statistics, annual reports and provide actional insights + Behaviors: Self-motivated, analytical thinker, problem solving.
