This Market Data Analyst II is on the research operations team within the Business and Marketing Intelligence unit. The primary purpose of this role is to create, maintain and analyze business and market data in support of strategic planning and informed decision making. Additionally, you will collaborate with other employees to provide support to different business functions and cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Weekly and Quarterly management, hygiene, quality for data related to macroeconomic environments, sales, competitors and marketsManagement of related data visualizations and insights, including PowerBI dashboards, summary insights, PowerPoints, Excel sheets and data analyticsDemonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databasesIdentifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influencesAssists with portions of larger projects or leads multiple small projects. Coordinates the work activities of project members and ensures that projects progress according to schedule and budget.Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and department or team objectivesCollaborates within team to develop solutions for internal operations or key stakeholdersData governance and reviews delivered reports for data accuracy. Independently works to resolve quality issues of limited scope and escalate complex quality issues to supervisor or senior staff for resolutionQualifications:

Identify the key skills and competencies, education and work experience requirements and special licenses or certifications needed to competently perform the role.
• Minimum Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Marketing or Finance
• Minimum Work Experience (years):
o 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position
• Key Skills and Competencies:
o High level of Excel skills required
o PowerBI and SQL knowledge required
o DAX coding highly advantageous
o Strong analytical skills – data cleaning and preparation, analyze data to extract answers to business questions
o Ability to present data in a visually compelling format
o Ability to work independently
o Strong attitude to learn and grow within the company, potentially willingness to learn machine learning
