**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Joiners** for projects located in and around **Savannah, GA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of **up to $30/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Joiner and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Transfer dimensions using tape measures, squares, and layout tools + Cut, form, and finish wood and other materials using stationary and hand power tools + Perform high-quality cuts using table saws, chop saws, and related tools + Construct various woodworking joints used in marine carpentry (scarf, sill, splice, lap, finger, dovetail, etc.) + Layout, cut, and assemble cabinetry, furniture, trim, doors, handrails, cap rails, decking, and other marine components + Apply epoxies, adhesives, varnishes, and polyurethanes to bond and finish wood components + Identify and repair squeaks, warps, leaks, and other structural issues + Apply caulking compounds, cements, screws, fasteners, and plugs using correct techniques and materials **Requirements:** + Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and conceptual sketches + Able to understand and use yachting and marine construction terminology (e.g., port/starboard, bow/stern, trim, bung, etc.) + Ability to meet project schedules and budgets, including working overtime when necessary **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
