**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Electricians** for projects located in **Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate **up to $32/hr** based on experience and skill level plus **$178/per diem** for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are an Electrician eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career! **Job Scope:** + Trouble shoots electrical equipment, and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect, and effect required maintenance, repairs, or replacement requirements + Performs maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits + Conducts insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine condition and effects repairs or replacements as required. + Supervises and participates in the installation and/or alteration to electrical systems aboard ships + Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required. + Maintains electrical system maintenance histories notating date, and extent of repairs and/or alterations **Requirements** + Must be a US Citizen + Must have OSHA 10 Maritime and firewatch certification + Must be able to pass a background check for DBIDS and drug screen + Must be available for all shifts + Must have 3+ years of experience as a Marine Electrician + Must be familiar with EPISM and follow the requirements + Mut be able to distinguish color code phasing **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
