Job Title: Marine Electrician

Job Description

The Marine Electrician will provide electrical support to galley and laundry equipment aboard US Navy Ships and Submarines. This role involves performing electrical modifications and upgrades to system components with various voltage levels. The Marine Electrician will be responsible for installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with US Navy procedures.

ResponsibilitiesProvide electrical support to galley and laundry equipment aboard US Navy Ships and Submarines.Perform electrical modifications and upgrades to system components at 120v, 480-460v, and 230-208v power.Install breakers, fuses, transformers, cables, and power panels.Perform electrical calculations and troubleshoot discrepancies.Develop scope of work for repairs and discrepancies.Perform lock out/tag out, bagging, and tagging of wires.Follow US Navy procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintain safe and clean job sites.Essential SkillsExperience viewing designs, schematics, and electrical drawings.Verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Professionalism and customer focus.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle pressure and exhibit flexibility.Additional Skills & QualificationsGalley equipment experience is a huge plus.1st Class Marine Electrician certification.Strong Navy experience.Refrigeration and electrical experience.Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.Former Military preferred, especially Navy.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
