Manufacturing Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will work on the production floor, assisting in the production of quality wire and/or sheet metal products. You will perform various tasks including deburring, bending, forming, and welding operations. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the production of wire and sheet metal products. + Perform deburring, bending, forming, and welding operations. + Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality. + Operate machinery and equipment safely. + Pack and prepare products for shipment. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and assembly. + Ability to work extended hours as needed. + Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. + Familiarity with machine operation and general labor tasks. + Experience in visual inspection and manufacturing industry. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Experience in powder coating is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company where employees are more than just numbers. The facility is well-ventilated, with temperature variations depending on the season. Due to the dusty environment from metal dust and filings, the use of dust masks is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New London, CT. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
