**Job Title: Manufacturing Welder** **Job Description** The Manufacturing Welder will operate a variety of electric and pneumatic power tools including circular saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, and riveting guns. The role involves welding with aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel, as well as operating machinery such as press brakes, shears, drill presses, and hydraulic hoists. This position requires physical activities including crouching, bending, reaching, and walking. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain electric power tools such as circular saws, drills, and grinders. + Utilize pneumatic power tools including riveting guns and air hammers. + Perform welding tasks with aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. + Operate press brakes, shears, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, radial arm saws, and overhead cranes. + Perform tasks involving crouching, bending, reaching, and walking. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with power tools and pneumatic tools. + Welding capabilities with aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel (can also be a entry level welder) + Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Physical ability to stand for 10 hours per day and lift weights ranging from 10 to 50 lbs frequently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No required certifications, education, or experience necessary. + Willingness to learn the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding/fabrication techniques. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a set shift from Monday to Friday without the need to work outside or travel. Join a team of 120 production employees, typically working in small groups of 2-5. Adhere to a dress code requiring steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and at least a short sleeve shirt. The company provides PPE including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Work hours are Monday to Friday with two shifts available: 1st Shift from 5:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd Shift from 3:15pm - 1:45am, with optional overtime opportunities on Saturdays or by starting early/leaving late. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Story City, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
