Manufacturing Validation Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Validation Engineer Job Description Support the validation of manual manufacturing tools for a new line being cloned in St. Louis. This role involves creating excess capacity and serving as a backup for an existing line at another location. The engineer will support and implement basic validation initiatives aligned with site goals and objectives. Responsibilities + Execute the Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) of new equipment as needed. + Coordinate and document validation efforts with other departments. + Write and execute protocols and test cases for validation. + Develop and execute equipment validation reports, including statistical analysis of data generated from validation studies. + Assist in the execution of validation projects with minimal oversight to support site initiatives. + Participate and contribute to Functional Requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, and GXP Assessments for validation activities. + Provide technical writing as needed. + Participate in meetings and manage project timelines and deliverables with cross-functional teams. Essential Skills + Validation protocols and testing. + Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ for off-the-shelf equipment such as Bag Vacuum Sealers, Zebra Printers, Curing Cabinets, Thermal Presses, Hitachi CIJ Printers, Barcode Scanners, Logojet Inject Printers, OMORON UDI Scanners, Ionizer Bars, Vacuum Chambers, Vacuum Pumps, UV/Vis, Freezers, Refrigerators, QC Scanner/Software Systems, and FTIR. + Understanding of process verification and validation and their impacts on the manufacturing process. + Ability to digest technical documentation and translate technical details into protocols, reports, and SOPs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline. + Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing validation within a regulated industry. + Strong understanding of assembly drawings and design documentation. + Experience with design transfer and manufacturing processes. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Work Environment This position requires working onsite 5 days a week. The role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to engage with cross-functional teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
