Our client, a leader in the biodiesel manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for shipping/receiving, manual labor, operating machinery (including a forklift) and quality control. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. You will be required to work 12 hour shifts and rotate between day shift and night shift every four weeks.

**Location:** Newton, IA
**Pay Range:** $28.16/hr (Day Pay), $29.66/hr (Night Pay)
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in loadout and shipping and receiving areas which include preparing trucks and rail cars for shipment and loading products (oils, fats, process ingredients and chemicals).
+ Monitor operating equipment (pumps, valves, pressure/temperature readings, fans and chemical treatment systems) designed to control the variables of the water treatment systems.
+ Operate a forklift and rail equipment.
+ Assist with weekly and monthly inspections of rotating and safety equipment such as fire monitors, fire extinguishers and hoses.
+ Learn to perform various quality control functions for oil, biodiesel, glycerin, recovered fatty acid and water.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have consistent work history, be reliable with excellent attendance and have the ability to work a 12 hour shift.
+ Must have 3+ years of Production and Manufacturing experience. Previous chemical processing experience is preferred.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Flexibility to work rotating 12 hour day (7am-7pm) and night (7pm-7am) shifts every 4 weeks. (You'll work day shift for 4 weeks, then you'll work night shift for 4 weeks. 2-2-3).
