Manufacturing Technician (Looking For Mechanics!)
**Job Title: Set Up Technician** **Job Description** As a Set Up Technician, you will be responsible for operating all machines in the Folding Department. You will examine work orders to determine specifications and inspect product quality according to quality guidelines. You will also ensure the accuracy of labeling, printing, and packaging throughout production. **Responsibilities** + Perform hands-on daily machine maintenance, changeovers, and set-up of machines. + Conduct minor machine repairs and troubleshoot minor operating difficulties. + Analyze machine operations, inspect products, and make necessary mechanical adjustments. + Perform machine wash-up and other general cleaning duties. + Accurately complete paperwork to record labor, time, and quality. + Maintain accurate count of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and pallets. + Pack envelopes uniformly and neatly into completed containers while keeping up with machine speeds. + Place die-cut paper stacks into the machine feed. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills and preventive maintenance experience. + Ability to set up and operate machinery. + Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for troubleshooting. + Capacity to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience as an auto mechanic. + 2-3+ years of experience at each previous company. + Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization. + Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Capacity to read and interpret ruler measurements. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
