Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metallurgical processes, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician IH Heat Treat to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician IH Heat Treat, you will be part of the Production Department supporting IH operations and technical development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician IH Heat Treat
**Location:** Mebane, North Carolina
**Pay Range:** $73,000 - $106,000 DOE plus benefits, relocation
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate and support induction hardening equipment, robotics, and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
+ Inspect driveline products for cracks and defects, utilizing specialized testing techniques and maintaining high visual accuracy.
+ Collaborate with technicians, coil shop, and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
+ Train and evaluate technical leads and team members to uphold safety and quality standards.
+ Support engineering initiatives, including process development, fault analysis, and process optimization for IH operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in heat treat operations or related metallurgical fields.
+ Experience with induction hardening, metallurgical testing, and working with various materials such as metals, plastics, and wood.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and conduct precise tests and analyses.
+ Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity, including the ability to detect cracks and defects.
+ Knowledge of safety standards related to IH processes and equipment operation.
