**Manufacturing Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team for a 4/10 Schedule: Day Shift - 5AM-3:30PM Mon-Thur, with OT on Friday.
Pay will start at $22-$24 an hour based on experience. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to assemble large surveillance towers on F-150 trucks for border control. The position requires heavy lifting and ideally, experience in construction, auto mechanics, or large machine assembly. Electrical knowledge is a plus. The successful candidate will contribute to building out a large warehouse to accommodate future projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and wire various electro-mechanical units.
+ Utilize small hand tools such as screwdrivers, tweezers, and pliers for box builds, cable/wire assemblies, and PCB assemblies.
+ Use bill-of-materials (BOM) and assembly drawings for completing tasks.
+ Conduct continuity checks on work in progress as well as completed work.
+ Create and maintain machine programs and profiles for new and existing products.
+ Aid in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications.
+ Troubleshoot operator problems and work with leadership on training and process improvements.
+ Communicate problems to Engineers and leaders.
+ Assist in testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes.
+ Perform experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
+ Recommend additional equipment needs for the product debug areas.
+ Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
+ Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
+ Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
+ Develop professional expertise and apply company policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with blueprint, electronics, electromechanical, and schematic assembly.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assembly.
+ Troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
+ Ability to read and work from schematics, assembly drawings, and engineering drawings.
+ Mechanically inclined with experience in electronics or automotive mechanics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to use various tools including drivers, wrenches, torques, crimping tools, and wire cutters.
+ Strong mechanical skills and component recognition.
+ Experience with automated computer systems and PFS preferred.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA ANA, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
