Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. You will conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of various systems, modify and rebuild equipment, and contribute to the installation of new machinery.
Responsibilities
+ Check the operation of machines and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical components, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance on machines and equipment using various tools and equipment.
+ Modify and rebuild manufacturing equipment to meet new machine requirements or production demands with engineering support.
+ Provide input on proposed manufacturing equipment and install capital equipment.
+ Understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics for troubleshooting equipment with minimal assistance.
+ Maintain work orders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
+ Document all machine preventative, predictive, and/or maintenance repairs clearly and concisely for accurate maintenance record keeping.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials.
+ Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment system to comply with state and local municipal requirements.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
+ Basic electrical experience.
+ Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Capability of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Familiarity with CMMS scheduling systems.
+ Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
+ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under tight deadlines.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring effective management of multiple priorities. The role involves working with a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, and using tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks. The dress code is typically related to safety standards required in a manufacturing setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
