Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves preparing and executing manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Responsibilities also include weighing, transferring, and mixing chemicals while documenting all activities to meet cGMP requirements. The successful candidate will maintain cGMP compliance, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and perform routine trouble-shooting of process and analytical equipment.

Responsibilities

Execute manufacturing batch records and SOPs with minimal guidance.Ensure safety and accuracy in chemical weighing, transferring, and mixing.Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements.Maintain cGMP compliance and follow all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.Complete preventative maintenance and work notification tasks on time.Perform equipment testing and routine trouble-shooting.Draft, review, and revise documents as necessary.Run in-process analytical testing when required.Maintain raw materials inventory using systems such as Kanban.Keep training records up-to-date.Participate in safety inspections, improvement projects, and lean activities.Engage in shift exchanges and attend necessary meetings.

Essential Skills

Production experience in a GMP environment.Proficiency in cleanroom operations.Strong understanding of GMP compliance.Ability to perform aseptic techniques.Strong math skills, including rounding decimals, multiplying decimals, and unit conversions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school degree required.Tech I: Approximately 1 year of cGMP experience or an associate's degree.Tech II: 1-3 years of cGMP experience or a bachelor's degree in related studies.Experience in manufacturing and/or GMP environment required.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in a cleanroom known as CORE, which requires gowning procedures and prohibits items such as beards, fake eyelashes, nails, and nail polish to avoid compromising the product. The noise level is moderate to high, and headphones are not allowed. The work schedule consists of rotating 12-hour shifts (6am-6:30pm), with a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off pattern.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
