Manufacturing Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description

Join our innovative team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a vital role in assembling, testing, repairing, and calibrating electronic and mechanical products used in industrial monitoring applications. ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electronic components into finished products.Perform light electronics manufacturing, including soldering and wiring.Conduct functional testing and quality checks on parts and completed assemblies.Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic hardware as needed.Document production, repairs, and calibration results accurately.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Manage and track inventory for parts needed for upcoming production orders.Perform light programming or configuration of PCBs and battery packs following established procedures.Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.Provide periodic customer support via email or phone related to repairs and shipments.Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and industry regulations.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma required; two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.Attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and assembly issues.Comfortable using hand tools and basic test equipment.Basic computer skills, including email and office software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electronics assembly or soldering.Experience performing quality control or inspection procedures.Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments.Experience with inventory management systems (SOS Inventory a plus).Experience with equipment calibration or light device programming.Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
