Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Packaging Operator 1 to join their team. As a Packaging Operator 1, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** US - Packaging Operator 1
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**Shift:** 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm
**Duration:** 12+ Months contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate processing equipment such as clean out of place (COP), clean in place (CIP), and label lines
+ Perform production operations including packaging, testing, and equipment setup
+ Conduct routine cleaning of manufacturing rooms and equipment
+ Manage waste disposal and ensure proper labeling of all in-process materials
+ Document process status and communicate deviations to supervisors
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Experience with SAP or similar systems
+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
+ Willingness to work in a production environment with shift flexibility, including day/night schedules
