Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Product Assistant (Manufacturing Tech 1) to join their team. As a Product Assistant, you will be part of the manufacturing support department, working closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Product Assistant (Manufacturing Tech 1)
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**Shift:** This role is on 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 2pm-10:30pm, Training will be on 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm for 2-3 months
**Duration:** 12+ Months Contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate various processing equipment such as COP, CIP, and label lines to support production activities.
+ Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of manufacturing rooms and equipment.
+ Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
+ Troubleshoot assembly line issues and ensure equipment functions correctly.
+ Document process statuses, maintain logs, and communicate deviations to supervisors.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Experience with troubleshooting on assembly lines and setting up packaging equipment.
+ Ability to operate pallet jacks and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
+ Must wear steel-toed shoes and be able to work while wearing personal protective equipment.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and mechanical skills.
