Our client, a leading organization in the biotechnology sector, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician
**Location:** 645 Science Drive, Madison, WI
**Shift:** 12 hr. shifts with 3/4 rotating schedules (2-week schedule). 6:30 AM - 7 PM (Days Shift) and 6:30 PM - 7 AM (Night Shift)
**Duration:** 12+ month contract with potential to convert to Permanent.
**What's the Job?**
+ Consistently follow and actively promote proper safety protocols and PPE to other staff.
+ Maintain the safety and cleanliness of production areas and all related equipment during each shift.
+ Utilize a wide variety of written procedures, including batch records and existing operating procedures.
+ Function as a primary or secondary operator for cGMP production of APIs and intermediates.
+ Communicate production status effectively through shift pass-off tools.
**What's Needed?**
+ BS or AS degree with 1-2 years of experience, or HS Diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
+ Ability to read and understand written protocols.
+ Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Email, etc.).
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Must be willing to work with highly potent/hazardous materials.
