Job Description
As a Graveyard Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for operating, controlling, and monitoring heat treating furnaces and related equipment. You will prepare customer-supplied parts for processing and ensure compliance with written procedures on shop orders and customer paperwork.
ResponsibilitiesOperate, control, and monitor heat treating furnaces and related equipment.Prepare customer-supplied parts for processing.Follow written procedures on shop orders and/or customer paperwork.Load and unload furnaces, bins, baskets, fixtures, etc.Mask, paint, and/or sandblast customer-owned machined parts.Report any irregularities or non-conformances to the supervisor.Clean work areas, machines, and equipment.Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.Essential Skills3+ years of manufacturing machine operator experience.2+ years of experience operating a forklift.6 months of lead/supervisor experience.Mechanical aptitude and experience in material handling.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, stoop, and stand.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift operator certification, with in-house training available.Aptitude to learn basic knowledge of heat treating processes, testing, metallurgy, and temperatures.Mechanically inclined with the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, and interact effectively with co-workers.Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in an environment regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, and fumes. The graveyard shift runs from 8 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday, with two paid 30-minute lunch breaks. Training will occur on the day shift for approximately 6-8 weeks before transitioning to the graveyard shift. This schedule offers the benefit of three-day weekends.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
