Our client, a full-service, tier-one automotive and industrial component supplier, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician
**Location:** Trenton, OH
**Pay Range:** $17.00 per hour
**Work Schedules:**
+ **1st shift:** 6:40 am - 3pm Monday - Friday
+ **2nd shift:** 2:40 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday
+ **3rd shift** : 10:40 pm - 7:00 am Sunday - Thursday
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform production and/or assembly of parts in a safe manner adhering to all safety policies.
+ Conduct visual and gage inspections of parts produced by various manufacturing processes.
+ Pack parts into specified containers as per standards.
+ Maintain 5S and LEAN Manufacturing standards while contributing to team initiatives.
+ Communicate effectively to avoid unplanned downtime and inform leadership of maintenance needs.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED holder.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
+ 1-3 years of machine operating and troubleshooting experience preferred.
+ Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and electrical disciplines preferred.
+ Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
