**Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and support our CNC machining operations, with a strong emphasis on 5-axis milling and lathe machines. This role requires a deep understanding of advanced machining processes, team leadership, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
**Shift: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday**
**Pay: $72,000 - $83,000**

**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise day-to-day operations of CNC machining, focusing on 5-axis milling and turning centers.
+ Lead a team of machinists and operators, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
+ Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
+ Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs and setups for maximum productivity.
+ Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
+ Monitor and maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine maintenance schedules.
+ Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate production records and reports using ERP/MES systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
+ Strong technical knowledge of 5-axis milling and CNC lathe operations, including G-code, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360), and setup procedures.
+ Familiarity with machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and composites.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
+ Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs).
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockland, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
