Job Description
We are seeking a Plant Superintendent for 1st or 2nd shift to oversee all manufacturing operations and key support functions in an automotive manufacturing setting. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and developing Team Leaders, Supervisors, and production associates to build high-performing work teams with a focus on operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee all manufacturing operations and key support functions.Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders, Supervisors, and production associates.Foster a performance-driven culture by consistently applying company policies.Develop second-shift supervisors and team leaders through coaching and promoting accountability.Strengthen problem-solving capabilities to align team performance with organizational objectives.Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Essential Skills
Strong management skills.Experience with production scheduling and KPI management.Experience with Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility.Minimum of 7 years manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility in the automotive industry.Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, lean principles, and materials/logistics management.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.Proven ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate across multiple departments.Why Work Here?
