Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the coordination of projects from initial quote through to delivery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team to resolve project issues, serving as the primary contact for designated customers. This role involves managing customer requirements and expectations throughout the project lifecycle, as well as building and maintaining strong business and customer relationships. The Project Manager will ensure that manufacturing projects are delivered on time and within budget, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining essential project reports.

Responsibilities

Coordinate projects from quote to delivery.Serve as the primary point of contact to designated customers.Manage and meet customer requirements and expectations throughout the project.Build, develop, and grow business and customer relationships vital to assigned projects.Deliver manufacturing projects on time and within budget.Develop, use, and maintain needed project reports.Identify inefficient operations and recommend alternatives.Analyze actual costs to validate estimating standards.Support and assist Estimating and Planning departments with manufacturing task information and feedback.Provide estimates for time required to complete customer change orders.Technically support sales team for written proposals to customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Engineering experience in a custom sheet metal fabrication business is desired.Familiarity with fabrication and machining specifications preferred.Knowledge of metals and raw materials along with an understanding of production processes, quality control, and costs of manufacturing is a plus.Proven ability to unify project team members to accomplish required tasks.In lieu of a degree, proven work experience in the metal fabrication industry with hands-on operation of multiple fabrication processes, specifically in welding, machining, finishing, and press brake operations, may be substituted.

Work Environment

This role operates in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and communication are essential. The Project Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of manufacturing projects. The position requires a good understanding of manufacturing processes, and the candidate may occasionally be required to provide technical support for sales and project proposals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
