Manufacturing Production Supervisor
Job Title: Production Control Specialist III Job Description The Production Controller is responsible for tracking and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production, meeting deadlines, and adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of aerospace production processes, including traceability, demand planning, and complex BOM assembly. Responsibilities + Work cross-functionally to oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing of work-in-progress and finished goods. + Help improve production scheduling tools and work-in-progress tracking. + Monitor, track, report, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. + Ensure parts are handled and protected properly. + Collaborate with the enterprise planning team to resolve immediate floor shortages on work orders and floor stock inventory. + Assist production leadership and project teams with action item updates. + Highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints to management. Essential Skills + 2-4+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing setting. + Proficiency in planning, ERP, MRP, MES, SAP, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite. + Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex issues. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalency certificate. + 4+ years of experience in production control in a manufacturing setting. + Strong computer skills with familiarity in SAP ERP/MES and the full suite of MS Office products. + Experience with SQL and Tableau. + Inventory experience. + Experience in aerospace, military, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments. + Go-getter mentality with a history of problem-solving and adaptability to new systems and environments. Work Environment The role is onsite in Redmond, operating within a fast-paced tech startup environment. Shift options include Monday to Friday starting at 6am (day shift), as well as front half nights and back half nights with hours from 5pm to 3:30am. Day shifts include one weekend day and training for the first three weeks occurs during the day. Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting and adapting to a dynamic and intellectually challenging atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
