Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Production Planner 1 to join our team. This position will be supporting our Harness Manufacturing Work Center in Gilbert, AZ

The Production Planner is responsible for a variety of processes. They work alongside various personnel to review demand planning systems to ensure needed materials are available in inventory and issued to the manufacturing team to support operations.
Responsibilities include:
Working on all programs within the HWCWorks with 3rd party vendor to maintain inventoryAssists in procurement of technician floor suppliesReleasing and monitoring product build operations in Sync ManufacturingCoordinating with production operators to ensure product is ready for productionFulfilling part requestsAttending all status meetings if/when neededAttending Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, Customer (SQDEC) meetingsThe use of various software programs including Costpoint, MES, Windchill, and TipQAInterfacing various personnel including Work Center Planners, Engineers, Schedulers, Technicians, Managers, Operations Team Supervisors, Quality Assurance Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineers, Technical Writers, Stock Room Personnel, Global Supply Chain Planners, etc.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with some relevant experienceProficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Possess a high level of organizational and interpersonal skillsPossess a high level of written and verbal communication skillsAbility to react quickly to people and situationsProcess needed documentationFollow written and verbal instructionsMust be detail orientedUS citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical fieldExperience working in the Aerospace industryProficiency in CostpointSelf-directed, proactiveProduction control planning and scheduling experienceKnowledge of manufacturing, inventory, production, procurement, quality basics
Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
