Manufacturing Production Associate
**Job Title: Production Associate** Job Description As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of various sizes, trimming excess plastic, cutting to specifications, and coiling them into rolls. You should be comfortable lifting 30-40 pounds routinely and will work in teams to lift heavier objects. You will also need to maneuver heavier parts, pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds. Responsibilities + Unload and handle drainage pipes of various sizes. + Trim excess plastic from products. + Cut pipes to specified measurements. + Coil pipes into rolls. + Use hand and power tools, such as a sawzall, for operations. + Operate machinery and production line equipment. + Package finished products. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Essential Skills + Experience in general labor or production line operations. + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Familiarity with machine operation. + Experience in plastics manufacturing is beneficial. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous machine operation experience is advantageous. + Opportunity for advancement to line operator positions. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility is non-climate controlled, which means it can be cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The workspace is fairly organized with a newly installed production line. However, if there is a lot of scrap plastic, the area can become cramped. The team consists of 60 employees. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday), 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday), and 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM (Sunday to Thursday). Overtime may be scheduled before or after shifts and every other Saturday as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
