Manufacturing Process Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing Process TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Technician to support product manufacturing and development activities. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with cGMPs, quality regulations, and established manufacturing practices. Responsibilities + Support product manufacturing and product development activities. + Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacturing. + Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs into manufacturing. + Perform area equipment and process validations following validation procedures. + Conduct in-process product testing according to standard procedures. + Support manufacturing activities in other departments as instructed by the supervisor. + Perform all duties in a compliant, ethical manner, adhering to healthcare laws and industry codes. + Incorporate company values in all activities and interactions. Essential Skills + Experience in manufacturing, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry. + Knowledge of cGMP operations. + Ability to understand and execute established written instructions. + Basic math skills, including knowledge of the metric system. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. + Experience with computerized inventory systems such as SAP is a plus. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Understanding of risks associated with processing, handling, and storage of hazardous materials. + Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or Associate Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience, or + Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with one to three years of experience. + Good organizational skills. + Ability to execute a work plan and adapt to schedule changes. Work Environment The work environment includes various physical conditions such as noise, close proximity to moving parts and equipment, and exposure to chemicals. It requires the ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel. Lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally is required. Visual acuity is necessary for reading, writing, and analyzing. The atmosphere may include odors, fumes, and dust. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
