Manufacturing Process Engineer II
A medical device client of ours is seeking a **Process Development Engineer** to join a fast-paced team supporting a growing instrumentation business. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll wear many hats. This role will engage with customers and translate their needs into manufacturable solutions. **Job Title:** Process Development Engineer **Location:** Anoka, MN **Salary:** 90-120k, depends on experience **Key Responsibilities:** + Serve as a customer-facing technical resource to understand new product requirements and ensure internal stakeholders (Quality, Operations, etc.) are aligned. + Provide DFM guidance and proactive design feedback to improve cost-effectiveness and manufacturability. + Own process development activities including fixture/tooling design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and second operations (e.g., deburring, assembly). + Create and maintain BOMs, routers, and CAD documentation within the ERP system. + Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other subject matter experts to support the successful launch of new products. + Support manufacturing of precision-machined components for medical device OEMs. **Preferred Background:** + BS Engineering or related field + Targeting candidates with 2-7 years of experience + Experience in **medical device manufacturing** (contract manufacturing experience a plus) + Working knowledge of **machining processes** (ideal, not required) + Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and internal teams + Proficient in CAD and comfortable generating prints and documentation **Benefits** + 5 days onsite + Medical, Dental, & Vision with HSA and FSA plans + PTO Plan + Retirement plans including a 401K match + Supplemental Life Insurance & Disability Plans If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
