Job Title: Manufacturing Process EngineerJob Description

As a valued member of the Production Engineering Team, the Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting daily operations, including planning and designing manufacturing processes. This role involves ensuring workflow efficiency, maintaining floor documentation of revisions, and contributing to continuous improvement activities. The engineer will provide technical expertise and leadership to enhance manufacturing and supplier quality, cost, and logistics, ensuring that manufacturing meets business requirements and monitoring the execution of milestones in outsourcing projects.

ResponsibilitiesProvide daily production support, including PFMEA review and process troubleshooting.Apply RCCA problem-solving skills such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D.Manage ECN processes and documentation flow.Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiently.Drive Continuous Improvement projects and apply Lean tools and Six Sigma principles.Improve production flow, cycle time, and reduce waste.Conduct JHA and ergonomic assessments.Support quality improvements through data-driven analysis.Contribute to CARA and major capital projects from justification to implementation.Support New Product Development (NPD) from engineering validation to production validation.Essential SkillsDaily production support with PFMEA review and process troubleshooting.Strong RCCA problem-solving skills (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D).Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Ability to drive Continuous Improvement projects.Conducting JHA and ergonomic assessments.Supporting CARA/major capital projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, ideally targeting 7-10 years.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology.Work Environment

Located in Blauvelt, NY, the work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM in a manufacturing setting. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
